As my dad and I were going through old family photo albums, we found some old postcards that my Great Aunt Betty had saved from Mexico City. No date on them, but guessing the 60s or 70s based on the other photos. I think I will add them to my postcard wall!
We had a lovely staycation downtown to celebrate @justinbonnema's 40th. The city is like a ghost town, bands performing to empty honky tonks, streets free of traffic and peddle taverns. Walking around, it felt like another town, eerie and sad.
A year ago today, we were boarding our two - week cruise around South America. We had no ides what was in store.

Ah my Facebook memory today was from our family Christmas trip seven years ago, visiting my brother in South Lake Tahoe. One of the most gorgeous places in the world.
My paternal grandmother always said “Patience and Fortitude” whenever I would complain about something or express impatience, and as a kid, this drove me insane. I hated it. But as an adult, the phrase has become one of my personal mantras and I better understand the wisdom behind it.
