The best products to enhance your adventures and make traveling easier

Our favorite travel enablers

We only endorse product, people, places, and services that we've personally used or that come highly recommended by trusted peers. If you grab anything we mention using one of our referral links, we may earn a small commission. However, there's no extra cost to you! Thanks for supporting our blog. 🙂

Any brand
We have tried a few different brands of packing cubes and never pack for a trip without them! They really are effective at allowing you to maximize your luggage space and keep your clothes organized and tidy.
Breathable & Noiseless | Fitted Deep Pocket
When we started home exchanging, we bought mattress covers for all of our beds. They are great for protecting your mattress from spills and stains. (Great for kids who are still potty training too!)
Programmable Portion Size Control 4 Meals Per Day
We wanted to make pet care easy on our home exchange and housesitting guests. We have one for each cat, so all our guests have to do is ensure that they are full. The dispenser does the rest!
Fast family Card Game | 2-5 Players | Ages 8+
This has been one of our go-to card games for over a decade. It is the absolute best version of Monopoly, and is such a blast. It's perfect to take on trips, to kill time at the airport, or play while vacationing.

About Me

👋 Hi, I'm Ashley!

I'm a mom to one human child and three cats, a home exchange advocate, a lover of yoga and Broadway musicals, a remote employee, and a longterm resident of Music City.

I write about my family's adventures while working remotelyparenting a small child, and traveling with anxiety. I focus on affordable travel, work-life balance and mental wellness, and bringing the world to you when you're not able to go anywhere. I also write a lot about Nashville and how to be a tourist in your own town.
