A few highlights from a lovely weekend spent in Chicago with my bestie. Good weather, good food, good company.

We saw some really cool art today.

Have you even been to @bna_airport if you don't take a snap with @bnacarpet? (My flight was in D but I walked over to C to get this pic.)

Saw Top Gun in Screen X last night and it was really neat! Intense!! Yeah it was a little odd getting used to the additional screens during the scenes that used it but 30 mins in, I forgot about it and just enjoyed the ride. And what a ride! Super fun movie (better than the original, imo, with higher stakes, a better romance, and more interesting dynamics between characters to explore. Loved how they paid homage to the original and basically used the exact same plot structure (and many similar plot devices) yet it could stand on its own without the original. The cinematography is bad ass with awesome stunts. I was breathless and stressed during many of the sequences. A great way to spend a Tuesday evening with the husband!

Date night, part one: @diceyspizzatavern is a new place on our list that's great for groups or kids. Big open air covered outdoor space plus lots of covered tables and ping pong in the fenced yard. Really solid pizza and delicious drinks. Super cute. We shall return!

Just submitted two window views from our recent South Dakota trip. Seriously loving @windowswap and looking forward to adding window views from the rest of our travels this year!
